Laurel House Face Masks
JL Racing teamed up with Laurel House to donate face masks for women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Right now, due to the pandemic, many of the families in their Counseling program who do not normally need assistance with food, supplies, etc., are struggling and Laurel House is providing as much of these kinds of practical support items as possible. The face masks will be used for the families they serve when they do “no contact” drop off or pick up of the supplies (which they do several times/week). Laurel House is especially appreciative of the masks for the children as those are hard to find and the Moms they serve often need to take the children out with them when they run errands, due to the absence of normal child care options right now.

Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving individuals, families, and communities throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The agency’s name was selected because of the beauty of the laurel, Pennsylvania’s state flower. It represents a victory for people who have taken the courageous first step of reaching out to Laurel House in their efforts to build a violence-free life for themselves and their children.
Laurel House’s shelter has long been known as a safe place to heal. However, for numerous decades, their programs have expanded to include many other needed services and support resources. Today, in addition to their 24-hour hotline and shelter, Laurel House offers transitional housing, medical advocacy, legal advocacy, counseling and support groups, children’s programs, law enforcement collaboration, and expanded community education and prevention efforts.
