Austin City Rowing Club Silent Auction
Austin Rowing Club will be holding an online silent auction from December 4th through December 10th. This will be a great place to do some holiday online shopping - treat yourself or your friends and family. Items range from JL clothing to exercise equipment, virtual wine tasting, guided kayak tour, and more!
The auction is now open for bidding! The auction opened on Friday, December 4th at 10am, and will close on Thursday, December 10th at 7pm.
Austin Rowing Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is so grateful for their wonderful donors, members, coaches, and the entire ARC community for coming together to share their talents, passions and generosity in this year's online silent auction. Like many other nonprofits, 2020 has been a challenging year - both financially and on their ability to row together the way we normally would. A large loss of revenue and reduced group activities have led ARC to find other creative outlets in 2020 to get through the COVID pandemic, and this silent auction is raising much needed funds to support ARC's membership and community outreach programs in Austin, TX.
We hope you will treat yourself, a friend, child, or loved one with a holiday gift. There are many awesome products, services, and experiences (virtual and in-person), and many with flexible policies due to COVID. In most instances for physical auction items, ARC will arrange a time for you to pick up your item at the Waller Creek Boathouse, ARC main office: 74 Trinity St, Austin, TX 78701.
You will need to click the Register button and enter your contact and credit card information to be able to place bids on any item. When you have been outbid on an item, you will receive an outbid text notification. You can set a "maximum bid" amount on any item and allow the site to auto-bid for you up to your maximum bid amount.
When the auction ends on Thursday Dec. 10th at 7pm, all winning bidders will receive a notification email asking you to log in and see what you have won, and to confirm your purchase on your card. The only charges that will be made immediately during the auction are on those items called "Buy it Now" - which have a set purchase price instead of accepting bids. For all other auction items, you will be asked to pay post-auction.
