We designed JL RePlay to be simple, rewarding, and planet-friendly. Here’s how it works:

Fill out the quick form, and we’ll email you a prepaid return label.
RePlay is free, fast, and open to all JL retail customers.
Note: You can receive one RePlay label—and one credit—every 6 months.
Send Us Your Old JL Gear
Launder & pack up any JL-branded apparel in good condition—used, faded, slightly stretched, and retired are all fine.
Attach your RePlay label and hand it to the carrier.
We Process + Recycle Your Gear
When your gear arrives at our facility, we inspect it, sort it, and move it through the JL RePlay loop:
- Recycled into new textile inputs
- Retailed for rowers who thrift
- Donated to community programs

Once your shipment is processed, you’ll receive an email with your $25 RePlay credit, valid toward any JL retail purchase of $100 or more.

We ask customers to send all JL items together in one package. This ensures a sustainable program that benefits everyone, including our earth!
What You Can Send to JL RePlay™
JL RePlay accepts JL-branded apparel only.
You can send any JL pieces in "good" condition:
- Racing unisuits
- Training tops + tech tees
- Tights, leggings, rowing bottoms
- Jackets, vests, outerwear
- Warmups + layers
- JL accessories (hats, beanies, bags)
We cannot accept:
- Non-JL apparel
- Non-textile items
- Footwear
- Items containing batteries or electronics
- Items with large holes, stains, or damage
- Unwashed items
Tip: Send everything in one box to maximize your return and receive your RePlay credit.
What Happens to Your Gear
Every item you send stays out of landfills and enters the JL circularity cycle.

Team credits are not issued, but team drives help reduce community waste and support sustainability initiatives.

By sending an item to the JL RePlay™ program, you assert that it is available for retail or donation. Please do not send products with custom logos that are not approved to be retailed or donated.

Is JL RePlay really free?
Yes. We cover the cost of your RePlay label and the processing of your gear.
How often can I participate?
You can receive one RePlay label and one $25 credit every 6 months.
What purchases qualify for the $25 RePlay credit?
Your credit applies to JL retail purchases of $100 or more.
It cannot be used on team stores or eGift cards.
Can I combine my RePlay credit with other discounts?
No. RePlay credits are non-stackable and can only be used once.
Do I have to wash my items?
Please wash items before sending. We accept pieces in any condition, but cleanliness speeds processing.
Can I send non-JL gear?
Not at this time. JL RePlay is designed specifically for JL-branded apparel to ensure proper recycling paths.
When will I get my credit?
Please allow 7–14 business days after your shipment is delivered for processing.
Your credit email will arrive automatically once complete.
Does my credit expire?
Yes, RePlay credits expire 12 months after issue.
What happens if I accidentally send multiple packages?
Only the first package associated with your issued label will be eligible for RePlay credit.
Additional packages cannot be credited.
Can I get my items back after sending them?
No. All RePlay submissions are final.
