Flooding From Hurricane Ida - How You Can Help
As the storm that was Hurricane Ida made it's way through the southeast and east, it brought major flooding to Louisiana and the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. The flooding caused untold damage to many boathouses located in Ida's path, including New Orleans and boathouse row, where historic boathouses line the Schuylkill River.
Boathouse row is home to multiple rowing clubs, and is widely known for hosting regattas such as the Dad Vail Regatta. This special place is a huge part of our rowing community and our thoughts are with the clubs who are still discovering the extent of the damage caused by the flooding.
